ASUS Zenfone 5 (T00F) Firmware Update Android 5.1 Lollipop

Most ASUS Zenfone the update process is through ADB Sideload mode this mean you have to choose this mode from recovery menu, the second way is from fastboot. Those are normal flashing, for ASUS Zenfone bricked there are may different methods from one model with another ones.

What do you need to update ASUS Zenfone 5?

• Firmware (you can download from link below)
• ASUS Zenfone driver
• ADB program

Steps to update ASUS Zenfone 5

1. Turn off ASUS Zenfone 5
2. Enter to recovery mode by pressing volume up and power
3. Copy your firmware to the same ADB directory for easy operation
4. At recovery menu, select Update from ADB and attach ASUS Zenfone 5
5. Install driver and then type "adb sideload your-zenfone-5-filename.zip
6. Wait until process finish. If you wrong select SKU the update will fail
7. Reboot

WARNING!
Only apply to same SKU update, Example: WW->WW, CN->CN, TW->TW

How to know your ASUS SKU?
- Settings->About-> Model number
- From Recovery menu
